Frequently Asked Questions
- What are “chapters”?
- Our “chapters” are what we use to separate the main video events in your digital DVD. These are like the chapters of a book; a way to headline each special event that your package includes. Click here to see an example of a digital DVD.
- What is “multi-camera documentation”?
- We use multiple camera angles to film major events, i.e. your ceremony, speeches, and first dances in their entirety. This allows us to capture different angles at the same time. When editing your film, we select the most appropriate camera view to use at specific moments. Click here to see an example of a first dance.
- What is a “teaser”?
- What is a “highlights reel”?
- A “highlights reel” is a video summary of your big day. Depending on the size of your package, your highlights reel can be anywhere from 3 to 11 minutes long. This is where we will spotlight the main events of your wedding, as well as some of the getting ready process, video portraits of you and your wedding party, and any special moments that exemplify the love present throughout the day. Click here to see some examples of our highlights reels.
- Can we pick out the music for our teaser/highlights reel?
- We use a website called Musicbed to license all of our music in order to obey copyright rules. Our editors expertly select songs that they feel will match your love story, but you are welcome to search www.musicbed.com and choose your own song for your teaser or highlights reel.
- What happens if we need one of your filmmakers to stay longer than the allotted time frame?
- We will never leave you hanging on your wedding day. If you would like us to film for longer than previously discussed, we will happily remain at your wedding for an overtime fee of $200/hr.
- Is there a travel fee?
- We’re always open to traveling for your wedding. There is a travel fee for venues outside the Toledo area. Typically we charge $100 for every hour of travel, but this may vary if lodging is required.
